A heat-developable photographic material, which comprises a support having provided thereon a light-sensitive silver halide, a binder, a dye-releasing redox compound which is capable of reducing the light-sensitive silver halide and which upon heating reacts with the light-sensitive silver halide to release a hydrophilic dye, and a developing agent represented by the following general formula (i) <CHEM> wherein R represents an aryl group; R1, R2, R3 and R4 which may be the same or different represent a hydrogen atom, an alkyl group, an aryl grup, a carboxy group or an alkoxycarbonyl group. |
