PURPOSE:To provide the titled compsn. having excellent gas barrier properties, by blending a polyamide resin compsn. consisting of a polyamide resin and a PVA resin with a polyester resin. CONSTITUTION:Raw materials such as lactams, omega-amino acids, dicarboxylic acids, diamines, etc. for polyamides are polycondensed in the presence of a diamine and optionally, a dicarboxylic acid to obtain a polyamide resin (a) having amino groups and carboxyl groups and/or alkylamide groups as terminal groups in an amount satisfying the relationship of Y>=X+5, pref. Y>=X+10 [wherein X is a carboxyl group content (mueq/g); Y is an amino group content (mueq/g); and X is not larger than 10]. The component (a) is mixed with a PVA resin (b) in a weight ratio of (b) to (a) of 98-2/2-98 to obtain a polyamide resin compsn.
