PURPOSE:To make simultaneous and quick measurement of many kinds of ions with a very slight amt. of sample by housing an ion sepn. column., ion electrode, reference electrode, etc., into a cylindrical body. CONSTITUTION:The cylindrical body is parted by two partition walls 2, 2 to a column part 3 of an intermediate part, an injecting part 4 and a detecting and discharging part 5. An ion exchange resin 6 is packed into the column part 3. Small holes 7, 7 through which the sample liquid and eluate flows in and out are formed to the central part of the partition wall 2, 2. A sample liquid injecting port 9 and an eluate injecting port 10 are provided to the injecting part 4. An elution pipe 16 is connected to a discharge port 17 at the end wall of the cylindrical body in the detecting and discharging part 5. The ion electrode 18 is provided to the initial bent part of the pipe 16 and the reference electrode 22 is provided to the 2nd bent part. The eluate is injected from the port 10 into the column part 3 and the sample is allowed to flow into the column part 3 from the port 9. The sample is separated by the ion exchange resin and the eluate is conducted into the pipe 16. The potential difference corresponding to the measured ions is determined by the ion electrode 18 and the reference electrode 22. |
