The subject of the novel development is a ceiling-panelling arrangement which is composed of coffers with ornamental panels and is to be fastened on carrying mouldings of a ceiling. The individual ornamental panels (4) are held in grooves (6) of picture-frame mouldings (5) which are provided on their outer side with at least one groove (8) for receiving a fastening means (10), and with a tongue (9) for connection to a picture-frame moulding (5). In this arrangement, an ornamental panel (4) can be enclosed by four picture-frame mouldings (5) of the same form. This arrangement is suitable for improving the homely feel of lounges or recreation rooms by means of a wooden panelling arrangement, it also being possible to use ceramic tiles as ornamental elements. <IMAGE>
