PURPOSE:To print out a picture information with a high resolution without deterioration by issuing a request for read information to a reader and a request for output information to an information processing device in synchronization with the printout from an output means in the unit of one line. CONSTITUTION:A picture information from a reader (scanner) 200 and an output information from the information processing device 300 or 350 are supplied to a picture output device (laser beam printer LBP) 100 via a scanner/a parallel/ a serial interfaces 10, 6, and 4. The device 100 is controlled by a CPU 1 in accordance with a control procedures stored in ROM 3 beforehand. The picture information then is pulse-width-modulated by a video signal generating part 8, transferred to the engine part 9 of the LBP through an interface 7, and printed. The request for read information or the request for output information to the scanner 200 and the device 300 or 350 are issued in synchronization with the printout of one line. As a result, a printout free from unnecessary deterioration of the quality of picture can be obtained.
