PURPOSE:To improve a transfer margin by controlling the film thickness of a spacer which adjusts the distance between a soft magnetic thin film pattern and bubble crystal so that a part whose potential depth is small in one period of the soft magnetic thin film pattern is thinner than any other part. CONSTITUTION:Numbers of soft magnetic thin film patterns 12 are arrayed on the magnetic bubble crystal 10 by providing the spacer 11 and thus leaving a specific gap to transfer magnetic bubbles. On this magnetic bubble transfer path, the spacer 11 is made thinner at the part whose potential depth is shallow in one period of the soft magnetic thin film patterns 12 that at any other part. Consequently, variation in potential is reduced and transfer characteristics are improved.
