PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a molded article capable of manufacturing a molded article, as a molded article with a shaped insert material and a resin foam integrally molded, with high adhesive strength in an interface between the portion of the insert material and the portion of the resin foam.SOLUTION: A method for manufacturing a molded article is configured to supply a resin foam 12 onto an insert material 10 containing a thermoplastic resin and heated to a temperature higher than a softening temperature of the thermoplastic resin, inside a metal mold 100, and to pressurize to integrate the resin foam and the insert material to obtain a molded article. Preferably, after the resin foam 12 is supplied, the metal mold 100 is closed and pressurized, and the insert material 10 and the resin foam 12 are simultaneously integrated while being shaped.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
