PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect temperature, when any one of a plurality of temperature detection elements is detected to be abnormal, without correcting a temperature detected by the one temperature detection element.SOLUTION: A heat generator comprises: a plurality of heaters 61 to 66; a plurality of temperature sensors 53 to 60 that detect temperatures of the heaters 61 to 66; and a control part that performs control on the basis of the temperatures detected by the temperature sensors 53 to 60. When determining that the temperature detected by one temperature sensor 53 of the plurality of temperature sensors 53 to 60 is abnormal, the control part replaces the temperature detected by the one temperature sensor 53 with the temperature detected by the temperature sensor 54 adjacent to the one temperature sensor 53.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
