In the case of a running arrangement for a restricted-guidance, noise-dampened movement on or in a rail, low-friction sliding shoes made of a low-pressure polyethylene with a very high degree of polymerisation are arranged between neighbouring faces, preferably with mutually parallel contours, of a sliding member and a rail.
