Rear-view mirror for motor vehicles

The invention is based on a rear-view mirror for motor vehicles which has an adjustable mirror body, the reflectivity of which can be modified by applying an electric current. To make this mirror automatic and to make it independent of external voltage sources, a selenium cell is assigned to the mirror to supply the latter with electricity.
