Components (a), (b) and (c) shown below are mixed and the mixt. obtd. is cured in damp air or steam, is formed and cured again in damp air or steam, then subjected to a heat treatment at a temp. as before or of 30 deg. C or higher. (a) Material capable of producing calcium oxide; (b) One or more selected from materials capable of producing cpds. of sulphuric acid, cpds. of halogen, silicon oxides, aluminium oxides, sulphides, hydroxides of alkali metal; (c) Water. The preferred compsn. is as follows: CaO 1-80%. One or more of CaSO4, Na2SO4, CaCl2 and NaCl: 0.1-70%. SiO2 5-80%. Al2O3 5-70%. CaS2 0.1-50%. NaOH/KOH 0.1-10%. H2O 37-70 pts. wt. to 100 pts. wt. dry materials. |
