Device for supporting a video image tube and its electronics, whose combination with an optical system enables the image to be projected and enlarged on a clear flat surface or on a screen. The device consists of a moulded component with characteristics making it possible to improve the system for projecting a televised image from a single image tube. It consists of a support 1 for attaching the electronic components, two brackets 2 for holding the image tube, a recess 3 corresponding with the dimensions of the image tube being used, a conical tube 4 eliminating leakage of light from the image tube when operating, and a tube 5 accommodating the enlarging lens whose axis AA' corresponds to the centre of the image tube. There is also a cabinet for housing the system, a cover and a lens holder. <IMAGE>
