PURPOSE:To increase the load limitation of a resin bearing by forming the outer perimeter surface of a semi-sphere portion on the tip side so as to be larger than that of a semi-sphere portion on the other side and joining together the semi-sphere portions through a pre-compressed rubber layer whose wall thickness is approximately even and middle portion bulges out. CONSTITUTION:A socket 10 has at both ends openings, one of which is closed with a shut-off plate 12 and the other opening 11 has the shaft-center shaft 3 of a ball stud 2 protruding therefrom. As for a rubber layer 5, the lower half of the head 4 of the ball stud 2 bears a load, and the ball stud 2 is made up of the compressed rubber layer 5 encircling the head 4 and a spherical shell 6 made of steel and encircling this rubber layer 5. The shell 6 is pre-formed into a spindle shape, and then rubber is put into it and vulcanized baking is done, and thus the shell is joined with the head. Since the shell is formed spherically as above, both ends of the ball stud axial direction of the rubber layer 5 are compressed hard, and a compressive stress enough to prevent a ball joint while in use from peeling off is given.
