PURPOSE:To manufacture a tray wherein a high-water-absorption resin layer and a water-nonpermeable thermoplastic resin formed sheet are unified, by a method wherein a resin sheet laminated material is softened through fusion by heating the resin sheet laminated material comprising a thermoplastic resin foamed sheet base layer and a water-absorption resin sheet inside layer which is of a specific composite, and then molded through a differential pressure. CONSTITUTION:A composition of a water-absorption resin sheet is 95-5 weight % water-absorption resin containing carboxylate and 5-95 weight % polyolefin containing glycidyl. If the water-absorption resin containing the carboxylate exceeds 95%, molding characteristics are deteriorated, and if the same is less than 5% water-absorption performance is low. Therefore, advantage that the composite is used as a film or a fiber having water-absorption properties disappears. The composition forming the water-absorption resin sheet and the composition forming foamed resin sheet are heated at the fusion point or more of a sheet matrix resin forming these layers. Then these composittions are made into a vessel by forming a recession for holding an article by turning the water-absorption resin sheet layer inside by subjecting them to a differential pressure molding and a matched die pressurizing molding.
