发明名称 METHOD AND INSTRUMENT FOR MEASURING VISCOSITY OF LIQUID
摘要 PURPOSE:To widely measure the viscosity of various liquid by forming a single or a bundle of relatively thin pipe having fine pores and measuring the viscosity of liquid to be measured. CONSTITUTION:This device consists of a viscosity measuring pipe 20 formed by plugging up one-terminal side of a conduit with many leaking-out holes in a 1st thermostatic container 10 and forming the other-terminal side as a liquid inlet terminal, a 2nd thermostatic container 12 which contains the container 10, a liquid feeding pump 58 which feeds liquid with known viscosity and liquid with unknown viscosity to the measuring pipe 20 quantitatively under constant pressure, and a pressure measuring means 60 which measures the pressure drops of both kinds of liquid. Then, the liquid whose viscosity is known as to temperature is sent into the thermostatic conduit having many leaking-out holes under pressure and all recovered from the leaking-out holes 16, and the flow rate and pressure drop of the liquid whose viscosity is known are measured to determine a flow resistance characteristic value. Then, the liquid whose viscosity is unknown is fed under pressure to measure the flow rate and the pressure drop of this liquid and then the viscosity is measured based on the resistance characteristic value of the thermostatic conduits which is already determined.
