PURPOSE:To prevent a part desired not to be scanned from being scanned, and to profitably use and optical image, by adding a control signal to expand the blanking period in the prescribed vertical direction of an image pickup plane, on a vertical deflection signal, and supplying it to a vertical deflection coil. CONSTITUTION:A video signal from the image pickup plane is added on a video processing circuit 6 through a video signal amplifier part 24, and a video signal S1 is outputted. Meanwhile, a horizontal deflection signal is added on a horizontal and vertical deflection coil 23 from a horizontal deflection output circuit 27, and also, a control signal added vertical deflection signal S4 in which a control signal S3 is added on a vertical deflection signal S2 from a vertical deflection output circuit 29, is added on the coil. In such case, the control signal S3 is a signal formed based on a horizontal driving pulse H, and a vertical driving pulse V, and the one to expand a prescribed vertical blanking period. An image pickup area corresponding to the blanking period is not scanned, and the overlapping, or shading-off, of the optical image in the vicinity of a boundary can be prevented. |
