PURPOSE:To support a photosensitive drum with high accuracy by supporting the drum by a sliding surface abutted upon the outer periphery of an end part which is not coupled with a driving member for the drum. CONSTITUTION:A drum supporting plate 23 is formed by polyacetal excellent in self-lubrication and has a holding surface 23a for holding the end part of a base 1a. In order to execute the printing process, the photosensitive drum 1 is finished as a cylinder having a large outer periphery, extremely small surface ruggedness and a high cylindricality. Thereby, the drum 1 can be accurately supported by directly supporting one end of the base 1a of the drum 1 without executing highly accurate working for supporting the base 1a. |
