PURPOSE:To do away with a drive source and to form an economical tire vulcanizing machine, by using a part of a movement of a hydraulic cylinder necessary for receiving a bladder for the engagement of a stopper engaging and disengaging mechanism having a specific structure. CONSTITUTION:The upper outer peripheral part of a stopper and the center of the disc 8c in an inner cylinder 8 form splines fitted to each other. Upper and lower saw-tooth cam surfaces are provided to the lower inner surface 31a of the stopper 31, and saw-tooth cam surfaces 13d, 13e are provided to the lower outer surface of a lower ring 13. During vulcanization, force due to a vulcanization internal pressure acts on a lower mold 4 through lower ring 13 inner cylinder 8 bead ring 9. After the completion of vulcanization, when a hydraulic cylinder 11 is moved upwardly, a part 31b of the stopper 31 is brought into contact with the under surface of a part 18c of the inner cylinder 8 by a spring 32. Thereafter, when the cylinder 11 is further moved upwardly, the cam surface 31a of the stopper 31 moves to the left and, when said cylinder 11 is furthermore moved upwardly, the cam surface 13e and the cam surface 31a are brought into contact with each other to be further moved to the left. When the hydraulic cylinder is moved downwardly after the completion of the upward movement thereof, the cam surface 31a is moved to the right and the cylinder is brought into a stopper released state and becomes movable further downwardly to make it possible to receive a bladder. |
