发明名称 POSTURE CONTROL DEVICE FOR FOUR-WHEEL DRIVE VEHICLE
摘要 PURPOSE:To control the posture of a vehicle pertinently depending upon steering by providing a means for making judgement as to whether a skid angle exceeds an allowable value, and restraining yawing working on the vehicle when the angle is over said value. CONSTITUTION:An allowable skid angle computing means M4 calculates an allowable skid angle depending upon the result of detection by a steering condition detecting means M3. Then, when a judgement means M5 has judged that a skid angle detected by a skid angle detecting means M2 has exceeded an allowable level, a control means M6 outputs an instruction signal to a yawing moment generation means M1, commanding the generation of yawing moment in a direction for restraining yawing on a vehicle. According to the aforesaid constitution, the turning of the vehicle can be stably effectuated whenever necessary and the posture of the vehicle can be quickly changed within a range not falling in an unsteerable condition at the time of drift running.
