PURPOSE:To reduce the number of parts and the number of assembling processes and to simplify back focus adjustment by forming a lens barrel integrating a range ring with a helicoid barrel to execute specific back focus adjustment. CONSTITUTION:The lens barrel 2 integrating the range ring with the helicoid barrel is formed and the thickness of a mount 1 is previously formed thicker than a reference thickness in order to mount the lens barrel on a camera body. The mount 1 is temporarily clamped on the lens barrel 2, and after measuring back focus, another mount 1 of the same kind is machined up to the thickness corresponding to the back focus measured value. Consequently, the number of parts is reduced, the number of assembling processes of a lens barrel assembling body is also reduced, and the adjustment of the back focus is executed excluding the assembling man-hour of the assembling body, the efficiency of the assembling processes can be improved.
