PURPOSE:To increase discharge capacity by forming an ultraviolet curing resin layer obtained by spreading insulating ultraviolet curing resin solution and curing by irradiating ultraviolet rays on the surface of a battery case on which a printing layer is directly formed and into which power generating elements are accommodated and sealed. CONSTITUTION:A printing layer is formed by directly printing design, characters, or figures on the outer surface of a battery case made of metal, into which power generating elements are accommodated and sealed, except for positive and negative terminal surfaces by a usual curved surface printing method. The positive terminal surface 4 and the negative terminal surface 5 are covered with masking materials 6, 7, and the outer surface of the printing layer 2 on the battery case is uniformly coated with ultraviolet curing resin solution. Ultra violet rays are irradiated to cure the coated resin and an ultraviolet resin layer 3 is formed in the outside of the printing layer 2. Thereby, the outer diameter of the battery case is increased and the number of parts used for the outer jacket of the battery is decreased. |
