<p>PURPOSE:To shorten the empty run time of a manned loading and unloading vehicle and to improve the efficiency of loading and unloading operation by providing a loading and unloading controller with a means which detects the position of the manned loading and unloading vehicle and a means which determines the shortest loading and unloading operation place. CONSTITUTION:A CPU 2 for control as the loading and unloading controller is equipped with the position detecting means 2B and loading and unloading operation place determining means 2C. Then, the detecting means 2B detects the current position of forklift 1-j based on information sent from the forklift 1-j. Further, the determining means 2C determines the loading and unloading operation place shortest from the current position of the forklift. Consequently, the empty run distance, i.e. empty run time of the forklifts (manned loading and unloading vehicle) can be shortened. Thus, the efficiency of loading and unloading operation can be improved.</p> |
