The patent application relates to a dismantleable ladder with a string and with rungs fitted on two opposite sides and with a foot. The invention consists in the fact that on one ladder part, in the two pockets, in each case one flat piece having a slot is fastened, that two half-shells, which are adapted to the form of the string and have cutouts and lateral slots, are fitted on the lugs so as to be collapsible, and that the other ladder part, which is to be connected with the first-mentioned ladder part, has two bolts, which are associated to the slots of the flat pieces, and two screw-connections which are associated to the lateral slots of the half-shells. A fundamental advantage is that, owing to the lock-type connection of two ladder parts, simple mounting and demounting of the ladder parts with a high degree of safety is possible owing to the positive locking and frictional locking of the connection.
