Rings (4), which are intrinsically rigid and form a butt joint (6) with two end pieces (5), can be used for holding a stack of perforated sheets (2). The object here is a device for holding a stack of perforated sheets which not only permits simple insertion and removal of the sheets and suspension in snap-rings but also allows non-creasing turning or leafing of the sheets. This is achieved in that each ring (4) is elastically bendable over its length, in such a manner that the butt joint (6) can be opened by hand with elastic bending of the ring to form a gap. Perforated sheets can be simply positioned on these rings, which are easy to bend open, the flexural elasticity being permanent on the basis of suitable selection of the material, and the butt joint being tightly closed, because of the flexural elasticity, so that no sheet can slip through unintentionally. <IMAGE>
