In order to clamp a carrying rail (3) on a fastening part (2), use is made of a locking member (10) which is mounted pivotably on a rubber bushing (30) and, in the clamping position, is pushed, by said bushing, with a flattened piece (21) of its peripheral surface against the carrying rail (3). In contrast to conventional eccentric clamping devices, this device has, inter alia, the advantage of an unambiguously defined clamping state which can be controlled owing to the position of the pivot lever. <IMAGE>
