The invention relates to a kitchen machine, in particular a centrifugal filter coffee machine, with a heatable water bowl, the bottom of which has an opening and a tubular projection extending upwards therefrom, an output shaft driven by an electric motor extending through the tubular projection and having a driving coupling in its upper region. There is the object of further developing this appliance such that it is suitable for mixing and heating, in particular for the preparation of hot mixed drinks, such as cocoa. To this end, it is proposed to provide a mixing container (202) which can be inserted into the water bowl (8) and has a bottom (206) with a through-opening which is adjoined by a tubular projection (208) extending upwards in the mixing container (202) and surrouding the tubular projection (14) of the water bowl (8), it being possible for a mixing tool (222), insertable into the mixing container (202), to be coupled to the driving coupling of the output shaft (16). <IMAGE>
