The invention relates to improvements to a detachable security lid intended to be locked on a case. The lid 100 is provided, on one of its edges, with fixed protruding locking devices 104a and on its opposite edge with moving devices 104b controlled for locking/unlocking by an articulated system comprising a central drive rod 107 and two small rods 103. The drive rod is controlled by a pinion 113 and the device comprises a stylet 120 which tears off a label placed under this stylet when the lid is controlled for opening. The invention apples in particular to goods handling containers for which it is desired to determine whether or not there has been an attempt to open the lid. <IMAGE>
