The invention relates to a device making it possible to evacuate the tainted and foul-smelling air in toilets. It consists of a pipe 7 attached at 9 to the overflow pipe 8. Switching on the fan 14 leads to the closure of the pipe 8 and the evacuation of the smells to the outside. When the fan 14 is switched off, the pipe 8 resumes its overflow function.
