PURPOSE:To perform high speed processing, by a relatively simple constitution such that a counter for setting the operation stand-by time of each part to a predetermined value corresponding to the kind of operation and a gate for selectively applying the countup signal of said counter to the counter as a start signal are provided. CONSTITUTION:The necessary stand-by time corresponding to each step of a measuring sequence is set to a counter 12 by a CPU 7. The counter 12 performs countdown and a countup signal CU is applied to CPU 7 as an interruption signal IR each time and also selectively applied to the counter 12 as a count start signal CS through a gate 13. The gate 13 is closed during the practice of an A/D converter 5 and at the point of time when the scanning of one cycle by a scanner 2 is completed and the count start of the counter 12 in the timing of the A/D converter 5 and the scanner is prohibited. By this method, the optimum operation stand-by time of each part can be set and the increase in a data recording speed can be achieved.
