PURPOSE:To enable discrimination of the shaft of punctured tire, in a tire puncture detector for a vehicle running on a track, by setting the next shaft monitoring time based on pass times between respective shafts of respective trains passing through load detectors and clearing entirely when there is no passage of next shaft during said time. CONSTITUTION:Signals are fed from load detectors 1, 2 through trigger circuits 11, 12 and 31, 32 to a timing pulse generating circuit 63 which produces a pulse signal K when an axle is passed. Based on said signal K, a counter counts pass intervals Ta(N) of respective axle. Said count Ta(N) is inputted to a multiplier 74 and multiplied by a count factor Nt to produce a comparison value TA. Then it is compared with the count Ta(N) in a comparator 81, and if Ta(N)>TA an all clear signal Ro is outputted to provide a next train waiting state. With such arrangement, it can be detected to which train the punctured tire belongs.
