PURPOSE:To make even a positive-negative image formable and to obtain distinct images, by forming a toner image on a light-transmissive sheet provided with a diazo photosensitive layer and developing the diazo photosensitive layer. CONSTITUTION:When a toner image is formed on a light-transmissive sheet provided with a diazo photosensitive layer, a part having the formed toner image of the diazo photosensitive layer is covered with the toner image. Moreover, since the toner image is formed through an electrostatic process of an electrophotographing method, etc., the boundary between the toner image section and the adjacent sections where no toner image is formed becomes distinct due to an edge effect. When the diazo photosensitive layer is developed thereafter, the section where no toner image is formed is developed to a diazo color, but the section where the toner image is formed is not developed and shows a color and transmitting property corresponding to the toner. Moreover, when the light transmitting property and charged polarity of the toner are adjusted, a positive-negative image can also be formed.
