PURPOSE:To improve the workability of manufacturing by insulating a ring coil core member by an electric insulation tape whose axial line is direction to the ring shaped axial line of the core member or the like. CONSTITUTION:The ring coil core member 10 on which a coil core wire 11 is wound as a ring is insulated by an electric tape 20 such as a soft polyvinylchloride whose axial line is directed to the ring axial line of the core member 10 and the core 10 is insulated by the tape 20 easily and surely by overlapping both transverse direction side ridges 21 vertically and applying ultrasonic wave welding to them and leads 13, 14 are led out externally from the tape 20. By such a constitution, the manufacturing workability of the degaussing coil for a cathode ray tube is improved.
