The present addition relates to a fibre optic connector comprising a bar 1 provided with a groove 3 on which bar a sleeve 2 may rotate, the sleeve presenting two slots 4, 5 terminated by recesses 4a, 5a. By imparting successive rotations to the sleeve 2, it is possible to insert an optical fibre F1 in the groove 3 via the slot 4 and to keep it there and then to insert, in abutment, an optical fibre F2 in the groove 3 via the slot 5 and to keep it there. The various operations can be visually monitored by means of the recesses 4a, 5a. In order to keep the sleeve 2 in longitudinal position and to facilitate its successive rotations on the bar 1, a knurled sleeve 8, 9 is provided on each end of the bar. <IMAGE>
