The machine comprises a varnishing cylinder (7) which dips into the bath and which carries an elastomer coating (9). It comprises a ruler (11) parallel to the generatrixes of the cylinder, and a brush or cleaner (14) which is bevelled and is carried by articulated arms (15) biased by a spring (16). The ski to be revarnished is manually pushed over the cylinder, the ski tip being forwards and directed downwardly.
