PURPOSE:To improve the life of supplying oil and cleaning performance by bringing an oil retaining layer which is formed by urethane rubber sponge on a core bar into contact with the surface layer of a nonwoven fabric roller through a hard elastic thin film having through holes of a very small diameter. CONSTITUTION:An oil retaining layer 2 made by urethane rubber sponge is formed on a core bar 1, and brought into contact with a roller surface layer 4 through a hard elastic thin film 3 which is made by continuous porous ethylene tetrafluoride resin, 10mu thick and has through holes of a diameter 1-10mu. The roller surface layer 4 is made by polyamide resin non-woven fabric felt. Accord ingly it is possible to obtain and offset preventive oil supply roller which can supply a uniform and proper quantity of offset preventive oil during a long period of time, that is excellent in cleaning performance and effective for reduc ing the weight and size of an electronic copying machine.
