PURPOSE:To simplify the manufacture process and shorten the time required for manufacturing by a method wherein a sealing film is placed on a solar battery substrate built on a resin film substrate and their peripheries are subjected to thermal contact bonding. CONSTITUTION:A sealing film 3 is placed on a resin film substrate 1 mounted with a solar battery 2 and then their peripheries are subjected to thermal contact bonding. The resin film substrate 1 may be composed of polyester, polyimide, or the like, and the solar battery 2 is built of an amorphous Si thin film, which is installed on the resin film substrate 1. Placed on the resin film substrate 1 is a sealing film 3, which may be built of polyester, polyimide, epoxy, or the like. The peripheries 4 and 5 of the resin film substrate 1 and sealing film 3 are subjected to thermal contact bonding, which is accomplished by using a hot electric iron. |
