PURPOSE:To improve reliability in measuring radiation dose by processing an arbitrary surface of a glass element so as to reflect ultraviolet rays and visible rays toward the inside of the glass element. CONSTITUTION:A material 3 for reflecting ultraviolet rays and visible rays which is coated on an arbitrary surface of a glass element 1 for a dosimeter is formed to a reflecting surface for reflection toward the inside of the element 1. The degree of the reflection of the reflecting surface of the element 1 is adjusted by changing the size of the reflecting surface, for example, an area on which the material 3 is coated. Accordingly, reliability in measuring radiation does can be improved.
