PURPOSE:To prevent ringing caused at an output by driving a transistor (TR) by a gate circuit in a time different from that in driving other TRs. CONSTITUTION:When an input signal given to an input terminal 1 changes from a low to a high level, since the level reaches a threshold voltage of gate circuits 2, 3 at first, the output is inverted and only the output of the inverter comprising MOS TRs 6, 7 is inverted. Since the level is not at the threshold voltage of the gate circuits 4, 5, however, in this case, the output of the gate circuits 4, 5 is not inverted, aud the output of the inverter comprising MOS TRs 8, 9 is not inverted. That is, since a load connected to an output terminal 10 is driven by the P-channel MOS TR 6 only, the output waveform rises slowly. Similarly, when the input voltage falls down from a high to a low level, a current flows through an N-channel MOS TR 7 and the level is decreased slowly and a desired current drive capability is attained with the sum of output currents of the N-channel MOS TRs 7, 9. Thus, the first ringing of the output is prevented.
