PURPOSE:To attain recording/reproduction at an optimum luminus intensity by recording optical intensity data and identification data respectively by the common format and modulation system on three kinds of disks, that is exclusively reproduction only, unerased recording/reproduction and erasable recording and reproduction so as to prevent the destruction of recording information due to erroneous-loading. CONSTITUTION:Exclusive control track 13, 23, 33 are provided to a reproduction only disk 11 driven by a common drive, an unerasable recording/reproduction disk 21 and an erasable recording/reproducing disk 31 and identification data and light intensity data are recorded. In loading any disk, the control track signal is decoded and stored according to the format and the modulation signal. Then, with an input command such as reproduction/recording given, the command is collated with the content of memory, and in case of NO, error display is applied and in case of YES, the reproduction/recording command is executed by an optimum light intensity. Thus, the destruction of recording due to erroveous-loading is prevented. |
