AIR SYSTEM FOR CONTROLLING TRAVEL OF VEHICLE

PURPOSE:To control traveling smoothly and to improve operability, by permit ting an engine governor or a brake to be operated automatically or manually by switching and controlling an engine output and a braking force to any arbi trary value infinitely when they are switched to automatic operation. CONSTITUTION:An air circuit for controlling travel of a large automobile comprises an engine governor control circuit 1, a service brake control circuit 2 and a parking brake circuit 3 which are connected to an air reservoir tank 10 in parallel, respectively. The governor control circuit 1 comprises a governor control valve CONT.V11, a pneumatic converter CV12 and an automatic/manual switch valve 13 disposed in parallel. The brake circuit 2 comprises brakes CONT.V21 and V22 and an automatic/manual switch valve 23 disposed in parallel. Further, the parking brake circuit 3 comprises a parking brake CONT.V31 and an automatic/manual switch valve 33 disposed in parallel.
