PURPOSE:To prevent water and oil from invading to a slidable contact part between a brush and a slip ring by interposing under pressure a sealing member between a slip ring cover and a brush holder. CONSTITUTION:A slip ring cover 1a has an end 1f and a tapered sealing face 1e, and a rear frame 1 has two tapered sealing faces 1e and a flat part 1g continued to the face 1e. A sealing member 4 has a wedge-shaped part 4e, a sealing member and 4g, an opening 4k for engaging a brush holder 3, a cylinder 4f and a recess 4h, which is composed in a labyrinth structure to introduce air into a space around a slip ring 6. The holder 3 is engaged with the opening 4k of the member 4. In this case, the end 4a of the member 4 is pressed to the flat part 1g, the part 43 is pressed to the face 1e, and the cylinder 4f is pressed to the end 1f of the cover 1a. |
