摘要 PURPOSE:To adequately control the damping force in response to the vibration of a vehicle by changing the damping force of a shock absorber to a larger value if the vertical acceleration of the vehicle is the preset value or less at the predetermined time when the vertical movement of the vehicle body is displaced in the neutral ground clearance direction. CONSTITUTION:Means M1, M2 detecting the vertical movement of a vehicle body and the vertical acceleration of a wheel below a spring respectively are provided. A means M3 changing the damping force of a shock absorber arranged between the vehicle body and a wheel via a command from the outside is also provided. A control means M4 is provided outputting a command to change the damping force to a larger value if the vertical acceleration detected by the means M2 is the preset value or less at the predetermined time when the vertical movement of the vehicle body detected by the means M1 is displaced in the neutral ground clearance direction. Accordingly, the damping force of the shock absorber is switched to a larger value in every half cycle in response to the cycle of the spring vibration to improve comfortableness to ride.
