PURPOSE:To easily detect the floating state of a mortar finished layer by vibrating a surface formed by adhering the mortar finished layer to the surface of a concrete layer by an exciter and detecting its vibration state by a sensor. CONSTITUTION:The finished layer 2 is provided on the surface of the concrete layer 1 and a floating part 3 is formed partially when the finished layer ages. The exciter 4 is arranged on the surface of the finished layer 2 in contact to give vibrations. The sensor 5 is arranged at proper distance from the exciter 4 to detect the vibrations. At this time, if the finished layer 2 floats, the vibrations are not suppressed by the concrete layer 1 and become large and the output of the sensor 5 increases. The exciter 4 uses an energizing spring 6, an electromagnet, etc., for the excitation and the sensor 5 uses a high polymer piezoelectric body, a ceramic piezoelectric body, etc., for the detection. The vibrations are therefore detected, so the floating of the finished layer is inspected by easy operation.
