CONTROL SYSTEM FOR INTER-SYSTEM SHARED FILE

PURPOSE:To process the information in the same time band and asynchronously without causing any conflict between stored contents and processing results of those information, by collating control information of a directory file of its own system with that of a system of the remote side and giving an access to an inter-system shared file after the latest control information is obtained. CONSTITUTION:The directory files D3 and D4 storing the control information on an inter-system shared file D2 are provided to the data processing systems 1 and 2 respectively. Then an access is given to the file D2 for reference, update and erasion of the contents stored in the file D2. In this case, a directory file of its own system is collated with that of a system of the remote side for acquisition of the latest control information. Then an access is given to the file D2. Thus the reference, replacement and erasion of the contents stored in the file D2 from respective data processing systems 1 and 2 can be obtained in the same time band and asynchronously without causing any conflict between stored contents and the processing results.
