PURPOSE:To achieve smooth engagement/disengagement between respective gears and a slide gear, by providing first and second gears to first and second output members of an inter-axle differential and a third gear to a power transmission member coupled with the second output shaft. CONSTITUTION:When a changeover mechanism 3 is operated, three gears 31, 32, 33 in the changeover mechanism 3 are engaged at two points, i.e. an engaging section of an input member of an inter-axle differential 2 or a ring gear 21 and a first output member or a ring gear 22. Consequently, when compared with conventional case where there is only one engaging section of gears for exhibiting relative relation in the rotary direction between three gears, clearance can be increased when respective gears 31, 32, 33 are engaged/disengaged with/ from a sleeve gear 34. Consequently, the changeover mechanism can be operated more smoothly.
