The invention relates to a device for writing at night, without illumination. It consists of an opaque casing 1 with a translucent lid 2 carrying a sheet of paper. A battery compartment 3, a bulb 4, with a switch 5, constitute the internal lighting elements. When the user actuates the switch 5, the sheet of paper is illuminated, which makes writing possible.
