PURPOSE:To improve the temp. characteristics of coercive force without requiring Co as essential component, by incorporating specific amounts of Ti to a rare earth-Fe-B permanent magnet material. CONSTITUTION:A permanent magnet material has a composition consisting of, by atom, 3-20% of at least one kind among rare-earth elements such as Nd, etc., 65-85% Fe, 1-15% B, and 0.1-10% Ti. If necessary, Co is incorporated by 65-85%, in total with Fe (Co is regulated to <=50% based on the total amount), or further, <=10% of at least one element among Al, Nd, and Zr is incorporated to the above composition. By this composition, the coercive force, at high temp., of the rare-earth permanent magnet material can be improved. Moreover, the temp. characteristics of residual magnetic flux density can be improved by the addition of Co. |
