Cosmetic composition having an improved substantivity or adherence to the skin or nails, characterized in that it comprises in its composition as an agent for improving the adherence and/or substantivity at least one compound selected amongst adhesive proteins of molluscs or fixed shellfish, said proteins being natural, synthetic or semi-synthetic and synthetic or semi-synthetic adhesive derivatives of the above-mentioned proteins.
