The method according to the invention consists in moving a mobile closing-off device 1 under the roof light over a distance which is at least equal to the width of a roof light module so as to be able to remove the latter, in once again moving the mobile device over a distance which is at least equal to the width of a roof light module, in dismantling this second roof light module, in once again inserting the mobile device over a distance which is at least equal to the width of a roof light. The mobile device 1 for the implementation of the method comprises a panel 2 and a mobile framework 4 arranged in the central part of the panel 2 and provided with movement means such as castors. The panel consists of a frame 20 within which there is installed a net 21 and/or a rigid surface, this frame being adjustable both in the length and width directions. Likewise, the framework, which can be moved by means of the elements 40 and 41, can be adjusted in the width direction. With a view to a use in the construction of new buildings, the device can be complemented by a winder 63 for nets 60. <IMAGE>
