<p>For continuous manufacture, by extrusion, of a tube provided with spiral threads, a single traction device (6) is used. This device includes two prehensile devices (26) supported rotationally, with respect to the axis of the tube blank emerging from the die, by supports (17) mounted slidingly parallel to the said axis on a frame (15). The displacement in the direction of traction of at least one of the supports (17) is controlled by a motor (25) through two clutches. This displacement is accompanied by a rotation of the prehensile device (26) mounted on the said support, effected by a kinematic chain (18) comprising a toothed rack (19) connected to the frame (15). The supports (17) are returned by jacks (30). A movement of traction-rotation is thereby applied continuously to the tube blank.</p> |
